A decent size room, a lounge, a couch and a kettle were a nice surprise. The continental breakfast at the restaurant was plentiful! Besides, the location was particularly good and unbeatable for our stay, within 10 minutes' walk of York Minster.

I had a lovely stay at the B+B in York. The location allowed for a scenic 10-minute walk to the city. While the room felt a bit cramped with the bathroom and stairs, the breakfast was hearty and delicious. The staff's friendliness made it even more enjoyable.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the city center and the beautiful York Minster. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made our stay enjoyable. The breakfast offered a great selection and was well presented, although I would have loved a bit more variety. My room was clean and cozy, though I was surprised it was a bit smaller than expected for a king room. a decent stay for a family trip.

A great room, super quiet location. To the old town it was about 15 minutes on foot, without children one would be surely faster... The breakfast was great, partly self-service with delicacies from the kitchen. Parking spaces in front of the door. Too bad we only budgeted for one night.
The beds, like most things in England.

Hotel in a good location in York. About 20 minutes walk to the old town. Nice old house with nice rooms. Nice little bar which is also open longer. Old York City is beautiful for a weekend trip.
Too few tables in the breakfast area. The 2 persons in the breakfast area were a little bit overloaded. Music too loud. Breakfast but ok

What a fantastic place for families! The location is perfect for exploring York's charm, and we appreciated the warm welcome. Being a pet-friendly spot, our dog felt right at home. The breakfast spread was good and had something for everyone.
My kids wished there was a dedicated play area for them to unwind. It would be great if the outdoor space could accommodate more family-friendly activities.
